MacroTrack — Terms of Service

Version 2026-08-26 · Applies to the MacroTrack app on iOS and the web.

Companion documents: Privacy Policy.

1. Who you are agreeing with

MacroTrack is provided by Neal Gysemans, Belgium. You can reach us at support-mt@physiqueatlas.com.

By creating an account or using MacroTrack you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. What MacroTrack is

MacroTrack lets you describe a meal in your own words — typed or spoken — and records an estimate of what you ate and its macronutrients.

The numbers are estimates produced by an AI model. They are not measurements. They are not verified against a food database, because MacroTrack does not use one: every value comes from the AI model or from a food you logged yourself earlier. Two people describing the same meal differently will get different numbers, and the same description may not produce identical numbers every time.

Treat the output the way you would treat a knowledgeable friend's estimate: useful for spotting patterns, not suitable for anything requiring precision.

3. MacroTrack is not medical advice

MacroTrack is a general wellness tool. It is not a medical device, and nothing it shows you is medical, nutritional, or dietary advice.

Do not use MacroTrack to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. If you have a medical condition affected by what you eat — diabetes, an eating disorder, kidney disease, an allergy, a pregnancy, anything at all — talk to a doctor or a registered dietitian, and rely on them rather than on this app.

If you are struggling with disordered eating, please seek help from a professional. Calorie tracking is not appropriate for everyone.

4. Who may use it

You must be at least 16 years old to use MacroTrack. We do not knowingly allow accounts for anyone younger, and calorie tracking is not something we want to put in front of children.

You need an account, which you create by signing in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure.

5. What you may and may not do

Use MacroTrack to log your own meals. That is what it is for.

Please do not:

The daily limit exists because each AI request costs real money and the app is free. We may change the limit, and we will not do it quietly.

6. Your data and your content

Your meal descriptions and voice recordings stay yours. What we do with them, who processes them, and on what legal basis, is set out in the Privacy Policy — read it, because it is the substantive document and this section does not repeat it.

You can export everything you have logged as a CSV from Settings at any time, and you can delete your account and everything in it from the same screen.

7. Availability

MacroTrack is free, provided as-is, and may be unavailable at times. We may change features, limits or the app itself, and we may suspend or discontinue the service.

Specifically: the AI features depend on a third-party provider and on a daily budget. When either is exhausted, AI logging stops working until it resets. Logging by hand and everything already in your account keep working.

We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, that your data will never be lost, or that the estimates will be accurate. Keep your own export if the data matters to you.

8. Ending it

You can stop using MacroTrack whenever you like and delete your account from Settings. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where we are required to. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.

9. Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any liability under mandatory Belgian consumer law.

Subject to that: MacroTrack is a free service supplied without warranty, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data, or for any decision you take on the basis of an estimate the app produced.

10. Reserved: paid plans

MacroTrack is currently free and there are no in-app purchases. If paid plans are introduced, these terms will be updated with pricing, renewal, cancellation and refund terms before anyone is charged, and no existing free account will be charged without a separate, explicit purchase.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version number and date at the top change when we do. If a change is material, we will ask you to agree again inside the app rather than relying on you noticing.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Belgian law. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.

The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
